Talent Show-2013 was held at the Students House of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.

Within the events dedicated to the celebration of the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the program of student self-government, the Nasikat political and legal club of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University held an inter-university debate on the theme “Urgent Social Problems: Two Sides of the Medal” and a round-table discussion entitled “The President's Way”.

A table tennis tournament dedicated to the Day of the First President was held by the Committee on Youth Affairs of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University under the student self-government program on November 29, 2013.

On November 28, 2013, the second literary ball was held at the Student Club of S. Toraighyrov PSU by the Department of Russian Philology.

The Second Asian Open Togyz-kumalak Championship with participants from 9 countries (Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Mongolia, Russia, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan) was held in Pavlodar.

On November 18, 2013, S. Toraighyrov PSU has launched a set of events devoted to the celebration of the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Leader of the Nation Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev.

The students enrolled in the program in Tourism at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University participated in the “Tourism, Alga!” exhibition and competition held by the Department of Tourism of the Pavlodar region in cooperation with the Ecom public association.

S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University hosted a meeting of the University students with members of the regional branch of the “Association of Koreans in Kazakhstan” Public Association. The meeting took place at S. Beysembayev Scientific Library.

A scientific and methodological seminar entitled “Inter-ethnic Tolerance in Modern Kazakhstan Society: Current State and Trends” with the participation of Deputy Deans for Educational Work, Heads of Departments, researchers in the field of social sciences and humanities, undergraduate and post-graduate students was held at S. Toraighyrov PSU.

S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University hosted an international scientific and practical conference “The Phenomenon of Mashkhur-Zhusip, a Man of the World” dedicated to the 155th birthday of a great son of the Kazakh people, our famous fellow countryman, educator, orientalist, folklorist, and gifted poet Mashkhur Zhusip Kopeyev on November 21, 2013.

Students of S. Toraighyrov PSU took part in the exhibition of paintings devoted to the life and work of a great son of the Kazakh people, our famous fellow countryman, educator and poet Mashkhur Zhusip Kopeyev. This event was held on the day of his 155th birthday, on November 20, 2013.

A Gala Matriculation Ceremony was held for PSU freshmen at the Palace of Culture named after Yestay on November 19, 2013. The event was timed to coincide with the International Students’ Day.

A meeting of members of the Council of Young Scientists under the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Leader of the Nation with students and teaching staff members of the University took place on November 18, 2013.

PSU scientists presented innovative projects during the event held at Zh. Aymautov Pavlodar Regional Kazakh Music and Drama Theatre.

The final of the Miss PSU 2013 contest was held at the concert hall of S. Toraighyrov PSU. This year, members of all 9 faculties took part in the contest.

Activists of the Committee on Youth Affairs of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University organized a flashmob dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the national currency introduction in the Republic of Kazakhstan on November 15, 2013.

An international seminar devoted to the role of higher education in promotion of democracy and human rights is held at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University on November 13-14, 2013.

A practical seminar entitled “The Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Field of Combating Religious Radicalism, Extremism, and Terrorism” for Vice-deans for Educational Work, curators of student groups, leaders and members of the student self-government structures was held at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University on November 11, 2013.
