A round-table conference on protection of intellectual property rights was held at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University on September 20, 2013.

On September 20, 2013, the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology T.K. Bekseitov and the Head of the Department of Zootechnology, Genetics and Selective Breeding N.B. Burambayeva participated in the presentation and opening of a new company in the field of agriculture under the program of Accelerated Industrial and Innovative Development. It is a 450 cow dairy farm named Zhana Kala.

The Faculty of Agricultural Technology and the Department of Internships and Employment Assistance have launched a new project that provides for establishing cooperation between the University and large enterprises of the agricultural industry that can be used as the places for internships and subsequent employment of students.

The first session of the Inspiration club in this academic year was held at the research library named after S. Beysembayev. It was dedicated to the 90th birthday of a famous poet and writer Eduard Asadov.

The national scientific and practical conference entitled “Modern Problems of Tourism and Geography Development in the Republic of Kazakhstan: the Present and Future” was held at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University on September 19, 2013.

The opening ceremony of the national forum entitled “Women and Religion” was held at the assembly hall of S. Toraighyrov PSU on September 17, 2013. It was attended by the representatives from the Agency for Religious Affairs, National Commission for Women Affairs, Family and Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, regional administration, and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan announces a competition for the prizes awarded for the best scientific research in the natural sciences and humanities, as well as for state research scholarships.

The scientific community of Pavlodar celebrated the jubilee of a famous scientist and talented educator Yelena Burdina.
