S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University (Pavlodar, Kazakhstan) and Bashkir State University (Ufa, the Republic of Bashkortostan) signed a Memorandum of Scientific and Educational Innovative Cooperation on July 31, 2013.

A presentation of scientific works and research projects of S. Toraighyrov PSU scientists was held for Seo Dong-young, the Vice-president of KC Cottrell (South Korea), and key employees of the company on July 26, 2013 during their working visit to Pavlodar region within the framework of mutually beneficial economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and South Korea in the field of green energy.

The scientists of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University took part in the international online conference entitled Security and Protection of Trademarks, Service Marks and Appellations of Origin in the Territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The conference was held within the G-global Communication Platform on July 23, 2013.

A seminar for heads of companies, entrepreneurs and scientists entitled the Tools for State Support of Innovation: Innovation Grants, Technology Business Incubation and Technology Commercialization was held at the Regional Center of Innovation and Technology Transfer at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.

According to the National (General) Ranking of Universities for 2013, S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University has once again been listed among top 5 multidisciplinary Universities of our country.

Having successfully completed their Master's Degree programs at PSU, the graduates were awarded diplomas on July 6, 2013.

An opening session of the scientific and practical conference entitled the Historical Importance of Astana in the Socio-economic Development of Kazakhstan was held at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University on July 5, 2013.

The students of the Bachelor's Degree program in Biotechnology successfully defended their graduation projects at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.

S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University is a permanent member of the English Access Microscholarship Program for children from low-income, large and socially disadvantaged families. It is funded by the U.S. Department of State and supported by the U.S. Embassy in Kazakhstan.
