The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Kazakhstan Baik Joo Hyeon visited S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University on November 1, 2013. He gave a lecture to the undergraduate and graduate students of the University.

20 projects performed by PSU scientists were presented at the Inter-Regional Innovation Forum entitled “Innovation as the Energy for the Future” on October 31, 2013.

Dean of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technology of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University, Candidate of Physico-mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor Nurlybek Ispulov attended the School for Young Scientists from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Countries organized by the National Personnel Training Foundation of the Russian Federation (Moscow).

A regional seminar-conference entitled “Social Harmony and National Unity of the People of Kazakhstan: the Conceptual Framework, Institutions and Implementation Mechanism” was held at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University on October 30, 2013.

The Expert Clubs sessions were held at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University within the XVI session of the Youth Policy Council under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on October 29, 2013.

A meeting of the Youth Policy Council members with students of S. Toraighyrov PSU took place within the XVI session of the Council in the Pavlodar region on October 28, 2013.

Famous scientists from Hungary give a series of lectures for undergraduate and graduate students of S. Toraighyrov PSU from October 10 to November 3, 2013. They came to our University under the program of inviting foreign lecturers to PSU.

S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University hosted a round-table conference in memory of Doctor of Political Sciences, PSU Professor Gabit Irenov on October 25, 2013.

The “Olzhabay Batyr - Yel Kakharmany” scientific and practical conference devoted to the 300th birthday of the famous Kazakh warrior of the 18th century, one of the leaders of the national liberation movement of the Kazakh people Olzhabay Tolybayuly was held at PSU on October 25, 2013.

The students of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University took part in the KAZENERGY International Youth Forum in Astana.

A concert by a Distinguished Artist of the Russian Federation, People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, winner of international contests, Professor of N.G. Zhiganov Kazan State Conservatory Yevgeniy Mikhaylov took place at the Concert Hall of S. Toraighyrov PSU on October 23, 2013.

A presentation of the book entitled “Agriculture of Kazakhstan in the Post-war Period: the Historiography of the Problem” was held at S. Toraighyrov PSU.

Students of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University Sagynysh Nurkimbayev (Department of Machine Building and Standardization, Faculty of Metallurgy, Machine Building and Transport) and Aygerim Mananbayeva (Department of Management, Faculty of Finance and Economics) won the national contest for the student scholarships established by the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Leader of the Nation (Almaty).

The annual charity event Kamkorlyk dedicated to the International Day of Older Persons and Day of Persons with Disabilities is held in our city from September 23 till October 23, 2013.

S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University hosted a seminar entitled “Organization and Operation of Integrated Personnel Departments of State Bodies”. It was organized by the regional department of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Regional Center for Retraining and Professional Development of Civil Servants, and S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.

A meeting of PSU students and teaching staff members with Joseph Tham (Duke University, North Carolina, the USA) took place at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.

Zhaksylyk Korsem – Ozimnen, a literary and musical meeting dedicated to the 120th birthday of a great Kazakh poet Sultanmakhmut Toraighyrov, was held at the scientific library named after S. Beysembayev of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.

A meeting of the students and teaching staff members of the Faculty of Humanities and Education with the members of the F.M. Dostoyevskiy literary-memorial museum (Semey) took place at the concert hall of Pavlodar State University.
