Toraighyrov PSU, took part in the 2nd International Conference on Integration of Historical and Cultural Heritage in the Development of the Tourism Industry held by Altai State University and the Office for Development of Tourist, Recreational and Health Resort Complexes of the Altai Territory.

Serik Omirbayev, Rector of S. Toraighyrov PSU, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, made a report on the new model of patriotism in Kazakhstan and particular measures taken by the University in the field of patriotic education during the forum entitled “My Country's Destiny is My Destiny”.

Students of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University won the national competition for the scholarships established by the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Leader of the Nation.

Aleksandr Idrisov, the President of Strategy Partners Group, visited S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University within the Yertis-Invest-2014 International Investment Forum. He gave a lecture devoted to the strategy of socio-economic development and increasing our region's competitiveness.

“The Smell of Wormwood” and “At the Top of Uchkara” by Sain Muratbekov were chosen for public reading in 2014 under the Nation-wide campaign entitled “One Country - One Book”. S. Beysembayev Scientific Library of S. Toraighyrov PSU held a series of events devoted to Sain Muratbekov's works.

A Roundtable Conference on New Kazakhstan Patriotism as Viewed by Young People took place in the Academic Council Sessions Hall of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.
