The educational and methodological work of the department is carried out in order to improve legal education, modernize educational programs for training specialists, bachelors and undergraduates.
A high-quality educational process is provided by highly qualified teaching staff. The academic qualification degree of the teaching staff meets the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Department of Law has a high scientific potential. Currently, the department employs 4 doctors of Sciences, 8 candidates of Sciences, 1 PhD,1 Visiting professor, 10 Masters of Law, 3 practical teachers. The degree of the department is 50%.
An important role in teaching is played by professional growth, professional development, and the acquisition of skills to work with students, which in turn affects the quality of educational activities.
The educational process is provided with a modern material and technical base. The department has specialized classrooms: a courtroom, a criminology room, a branch of the department in the Department of Justice of the Pavlodar region and the Department of Police of the Pavlodar region, as well as lecture halls and auditoriums equipped with interactive whiteboards and multimedia equipment.
The UMCS is formed in all specialties of the department in Russian and Kazakh languages in full, CEDs are available in all specialties. Every year, the content of the QED is reviewed for its compliance with modern requirements for graduates, the latest achievements of science and practice. The basis for making changes to the list and content of elective disciplines of the specialty are the proposals of consumers of educational services (employers).
The implementation of the plan of educational and methodological work of the department was carried out through the development and approval of syllabuses, materials for knowledge control and final control in the state and Russian languages.
The construction of a credit technology education system provides an opportunity for academic mobility when transferring disciplines mastered at other universities. After mastering any type of workload, a form of control is provided in the work plan, which makes it possible to implement the cumulative function of loans, determine the position of the student on his educational trajectory while continuing education and moving to the next educational level.
The teachers of the department are constantly working to improve the educational process of training specialists. Electronic educational and methodological complexes have been prepared for the cycle of fundamental and special disciplines for students of the specialty.
According to the UML plan, teachers of the Department of Law annually produce educational and methodological literature.
