In line with the department's quality objectives in academic and methodological work, the level of methodological support for the educational process has significantly improved.
The plan for publishing educational and methodological literature through Kereku Publishing House is fulfilled each academic year.
The educational and methodological complex of educational programs has been developed for all educational programs of the department in the state, Russian, and English languages in full. A catalog of elective courses is available for all educational programs. The catalog of elective courses is reviewed annually for its compliance with modern graduate requirements and the latest scientific and practical achievements. Stakeholder suggestions serve as the basis for changes to the list and content of elective courses in educational programs. The department's educational and methodological work plan is implemented through the development and approval of syllabi, methodological recommendations, and guidelines for coursework (projects), knowledge assessment materials, and final assessments in the national, Russian, and English languages.
Continuing education is implemented in multiple areas:
- implementation of proactive and exploratory scientific research;
- study of scientific research methodology in various subject areas;
- implementation of contractual scientific projects in collaboration with enterprises, organizations, and institutions;
- participation in national and international scientific and practical conferences;
- participation in scientific competitions;
- attendance of specialized courses in foreign language learning.

On October 27, 2023, as part of the implementation of project AP14869606 "Psychological and Pedagogical Support for Early Professional Self-Determination of Students in the Basic Secondary Education System", supervisor A. A. Kudysheva and research group members S. K. Ksembayeva, A. S. Popandopulo, Ye. P. Shcherbakova, E. S. Pshembayeva, and A. Yu. Khaimuldina held a roundtable discussion on the topic "Training Teachers and Psychologists to Work with Students in the Basic Secondary Education System to Support Their Early Professional Self-Determination: Problems and Prospects".
On January 24, 2024, an international roundtable discussion entitled "Creating an Accessible Environment for Students with Special Educational Needs" was held as part of the IRN Project No. AP19679880 "Psychological and Pedagogical Conditions for Developing Professional Competencies of University Students with Special Educational Needs (using the Pavlodar Region as an Example)". An inclusive education room was opened.
Students from the department studied at foreign universities under the academic mobility program:
1) Anuarbek Diana (Ps-401) – Czech Republic;
2) Diana Sipatilova, Aziza Topbay, Anna Bagumbaeva, Irina Bedrina, Igor Goryachev, Aiym Elubaeva, Kulsum Elubaeva, Tatyana Kirpa, Victoria Sokolova, Alina Ermetova (group Ps-402) - M. Akmula Bashkir State Pedagogical University, Ufa, Russia.

As part of the educational program, students participated in academic mobility and research internships:
- T. D. Makina, a student in group Ps-301, participated in academic mobility. Baku Slavic University, Baku, Azerbaijan.
- A. K. Bayzullina, a graduate student in the department (educational program 7M03104 - Psychology), received a certificate of completion of a research internship at A. M. Pavlodar Pedagogical University. Margulan during the academic year;
- A. E. Kamerdenov, a master's student of the department (educational program 7M03104 - Psychology), received a certificate of completion of a research internship at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University during the academic year;
- 9 master's students of the department (educational program 7M01101 - Pedagogy and Psychology) received certificates of completion of a research internship at A. Margulan Pavlodar Pedagogical University during the academic year;
- 2 master's students of the department (educational program 7M11401 - Social Work) received certificates of completion of a research internship at A. Margulan Pavlodar Pedagogical University during the academic year.
According to the annual plan:
- 4 scientific and methodological seminars were held, attended by the department's faculty (N. M. Ushakova, M. E. Nurgaliyeva, A. A. Azhenov, A. Yu. Khaimuldina);
- 4 titles of educational and methodological literature were published (E. M. Raklova – 3 textbooks; S. K. Ksembayeva, A. S. Popandopulo, S. K. Antikeyeva – 1 textbook);
- 16 mutual visits to classes were conducted;
- 100% of the teaching and methodological materials for the department's educational programs were completed.
