The Department of "Social Sciences, Journalism and Information" was organized on September 1, 2020 as a result of the reorganization of three departments of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences: "Philosophy and Social and Humanitarian Sciences, "Kazakh Language and Journalism", "Management and Management". The Department of "Management and Management" was headed by Candidate of Political Sciences, Professor Kaliev I.A. The Department of "Kazakh language and Journalism" was headed by Candidate of Philological Sciences Zeynulina A.F. Since 2015. The Department of "Philosophy and Social and Humanitarian Disciplines" was headed by the Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Assoc.professor (associate professor) Kozhamzharova M.Zh. Currently, the head of the Department of "Social Sciences, Journalism and Information" is the Candidate of Philosophical Sciences Kozhamzharova M.Zh.
