Laboratory of solid state physics named after doctor of technical sciences V.O. Voloshin

Vasiliy Ostapovich Voloshyn was born in 1935 in Khmelnitsky region

In 1950 he entered Slavuta Pedagogical Technical School, Department of Physics and Mathematics. From 1955-1960 he was a student of the Physics Department of Lviv Pedagogical Institute. During his studies he twice went to the districts of Pavlodar region as a commander of mechanized detachment. He was awarded diplomas and a medal "For the development of virgin lands".

In 1960, after graduation from the Institute, he was sent to work as a senior engineer of the 109 verification laboratory of the Prikarpattya Military District.

From 1961 to 1963 he was the head of the nuclear radiation laboratory

In 1963 Vasily Ostapovich was invited to lecture on the special subject "Application of Atomic Energy" in Pavlodar Industrial Institute. For two years at the Department of Physics he created a laboratory of "Applied Nuclear Physics", which in 1967 grew into a research laboratory. On the basis of this laboratory 3 candidate and 1 doctoral dissertations were defended

1967 Head of the Department of Physics, 1984 Vice-rector for scientific work of PII.

1994 - Doctor of Science, 1996 - Professor of Physics Department of PSU and Director of Independent Certification Body "Institution Kazakhstan Educational and Scientific Center of Non-Destructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics".

40 years of scientific activity devoted to research in the field of neutral physics and neutral methods of control.

Author and co-author of 96 publications, including 2 monographs, 20 training and methodical manuals.

He was awarded with the gratitude of the Minister of the USSR, two certificates of honor of the Ministry of Higher Education of the KazSSR, a certificate of the Pavlodar Regional Council, two medals and the Order of the Badge of Honor.
