Registration of participants of the Olympiad is carried out in the presence of the following documents:

1. Letters signed by the rector (vice-rector) on the results of the first stage of the Olympiad or the decision of the Academic Council of the university with a recommendation for participation in the second stage;

2. Participant's applications (in the form of Appendix 1);

3. Information from the place of study of each participant.

The application for participation in the Olympiad is sent by e-mail until April 10, 2025 inclusive: beisembaiaigerim2020@gmail.com with an indication in the subject of the letter: "XVI Republican Subject Olympiad among students of the OVPO of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

The II stage of the XVI Republican Subject Olympiad will be held on the basis of the NAO "Toraigyrov University" in 2 rounds:

- round 1 (April 21 from 10:30 to 11:30): Solving test tasks using computer testing in the disciplines of "Dendrology" and "Forestry".

- round 2 (April 21, from 14:00 to 15:00): Solving cases in the disciplines of "Dendrology" and "Forestry"

Olympiad venue: NAO "Toraigyrov University" (main academic building), 64 Lomova St., Pavlodar.

On April 23, 2025, the XVІI Republican Subject Student Olympiad in the educational program 6B02201 – “History” will be held at Toraigyrov University.

The purpose of the Olympiad: to reveal cognitive, research work, creative abilities, to form intellectual potential and support the most gifted students, as well as to attract young scientists to solve scientific problems of our time and to develop interest in scientific activity.

The Olympiad is open to students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan studying in the educational program 6B02201 - "History". The team nominated by the higher educational institution must include no more than four students of the 1st-4th years.

The working languages ​​of the Olympiad are Kazakh and Russian.

The procedure for submitting documents to the Olympiad Organizing Committee:

Registration of Olympiad participants will be carried out strictly according to documents. During the Olympiad, students must have an identity card and a student card.

The Olympiad program will be sent to the e-mail of the team leaders after completing the registration procedure for the Olympiad.

Dear Students!

A competition is announced under the Academic Mobility program for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-year students, both on state educational grants and on a fee-paying basis, to study in the autumn semester of the 2025-2026 academic year at a foreign university in European countries, with funding from the republican budget. The main criteria for the selection are high academic performance throughout the entire period of study, proficiency in a foreign language, and the evaluation by an Independent Expert Commission*.

The required documents for the competition are submitted in paper form through the university office.

To submit documents via the university office, applicants must provide the following documents:

Documents are accepted at International Office 2 (Room 260).

List of Documents:

1. Application form (2 copies);
2. Questionnaire form;
3. A copy of the passport of the Republic of Kazakhstan citizen;
4. A transcript of current academic performance, certified with the university seal;
5. A document confirming proficiency in a foreign language (the applicant must provide one of the following documents):

• a) A certificate obtained through an international foreign language proficiency assessment system (IELTS, TOEFL), if available;
• b) A letter of consent from a foreign university to accept the student with their current foreign language proficiency;
• c) The result of a language proficiency test from a Kazakhstani university (Toraighyrov University), with a score no lower than level B2.

In the absence of the document specified in paragraphs a) or b), the student may take an English language test at the International Office (Room 260). To take the test, applicants must submit an application by email to mobilnost_psu@mail.ru by April 21, 2025.

       6.  A medical certificate (for traveling abroad), in the form No. 072/u, as approved by the Order of the Acting Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 30, 2020, No. KR DSM-175/2020 (registered in the Register of State Registration of Regulatory Legal Acts No. 21579) (hereinafter referred to as Order No. KR DSM-175/2020);

       7.  A written consent from the applicant’s parents, guardians, or legal representatives for traveling abroad, if the applicant is under 18 years of age at the time of departure from Kazakhstan;

       8.  A document confirming the applicant’s status as part of a large family;

       9.  A document confirming the absence of parents (for students who are orphans or have lost parental care, if applicable);

       10.  A document confirming the applicant's disability;

       11.  A letter of recommendation from the Dean and Department Head.

1 Subject, goals

The subject of the Olympiad is the result of the learners’ tests and essays.

The main goal of the international Student Olympiad is to identify and develop learners’ creative abilities, interest in research, self-presentation, and teamwork.

2 The order of the Olympiad

The Olympiad will be held in the form of a team game in the following stages.

The first stage is the solution of test tasks and analytical tasks in online format in economic disciplines, which will be conducted to identify knowledge in the field of macroeconomics and microeconomics.

The second stage is writing an essay on the topic: “How digitalization is changing the labor market and education: challenges and prospects”. The essay must be prepared in advance and submitted by the team during the Olympiad. The time for the presentation of the essay is from 5-7 minutes.

3 Participants of competition

Students of higher educational institutions studying economics in 2-3 courses are allowed to participate in the Olympiad.

Students go through 2 stages, testing and essay presentation.

The team should consist of 2 to 4 people under the guidance of a senior lecturer, associate professor, professor of a leading profile department.

For participation in the Olympiad it takes to register via the link no later than April 25, 2025.

Participation in the Olympiad is free of charge. Registration after 04/25/2025 will be closed.

The Olympiad is held within the framework of the IRN grant project AP19676438 “Mechanism for ensuring balanced interaction of the labor market and the education system in the context of digitalization of the economy”.

The source of funding is the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On the increase in tuition fees

Dear students!

According to the Qualification requirements for the educational activities of organizations providing higher and (or) postgraduate education, approved by order of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 05.01.2024 No. 4 the minimum costs for 1 (one) student on a paid basis must be at least 50% of the cost of the state educational order for training personnel with higher and (or) postgraduate education for the corresponding academic year and based on clause 3.1. of the agreement for the provision of educational services, the university management informs about the increase in tuition fees for the next academic year.

From September 1, 2025, tuition fees for all students (bachelor's, master's, doctoral) will be increased. Tuition fees will be presented in students' personal accounts.

To sign an additional agreement and find out the new tuition fee, please contact the dean’s office of your faculty.
