Creative: to conduct performing activity;

Organizational-technological: to work out forms and ways of creative and pedagogical activity, to create technological basis for Art and Culture institutions functioning;

Designing: to create and work out projects, to organize and conduct festivals, contests, etc.

Research: to investigate objects of activity in art, culture, education;

Educational: to train in the chosen speciality in educational institutions of all types and levels, to deliver educational services, to set and solve pedagogical tasks.

Professional activity area is music education. Objects of graduates professional activity are secondary schools, gymnasiums, lyceums. Subjects of professional activity are Music classes, extracurricular musical-educational activity, organizational propaganda work in secondary schools, gymnasiums, lyceums.

Practical training classes (the History of Kazakh music, the History of Overseas music, the History of the World music, the Theory of Music, Polyphony, Choir conducting, etc.) are held in mediatec of the scientific library named after Beisembayev of PSU after S. Toraigyrov, in stock of which there are 90 names of electronic and tape mediums.
