Educational work at the department is carried out in the main areas: university-wide events, public holidays; organizational events; moral education; labor education and career guidance; patriotic, international education; legal education; healthy lifestyle, tourist and sports work; environmental education; work in dormitories.

Each student group is assigned an adviser who systematically meets with the group, who knows the situation in the group, each student and his problems well.

Every first of September, an annual general university lineup for the first year is held. Advisory hours are held in all groups of the MIS department. Organizational meetings were held with the first-year students of the MIS department with filling out questionnaires, as well as familiarization with the B building.

Cleaning days (subbotniks) are held annually in the spring/autumn periods with the participation of students and teachers

- Every year students and undergraduates take an active part in the development of the script and in the celebration of Nauryz. Students perform in a festive concert, and also participate in the design of festive wall newspapers.
