Dear students!

A competition is announced under the Academic Mobility program for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students studying on a state educational grant (as of the 2023-2024 academic year) to study in the autumn semester of the 2023-2024 academic year at a foreign university (European countries) at the expense of republican funding. The main criteria for competitive selection are high academic performance for the entire period of study, knowledge of a foreign language and the assessment of an Independent Expert Commission*.

There are two ways to submit documents for the competition: documents are accepted in International Office 2 (260 office) or through the e-government web portal www.egov.kz (here in after referred to as the portal):

List of documents:

1) the application form (2 copy);

2) The questionnaire form;

2) a copy of the passport of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

3) a transcript of the current academic performance certified by the seal of the university;

4) a document confirming the level of proficiency in a foreign language (the applicant provides one of the following documents):

a) a certificate obtained through the international foreign language proficiency assessment systems (IELTS, TOEFL), if available;

b) a letter of consent from a foreign university to accept a student with an existing level of a foreign language;

c) the test result of a Kazakh university (Toraighyrov University) (not lower than the B2 level);

*In the absence of the document specified in paragraph a) or b), the student can take an English language test in the International Office (office 117) . To pass the test, you must submit an application by writing to the email mobilnost_psu@mail.ru till 05 May, 2023.

5) medical certificate (for traveling abroad) in the form No. 072 / u approved by the Order of the Acting Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 30, 2020 No. KR DSM-175/2020 (registered in the Register of State Registration of Regulatory Legal Acts No. 21579) (hereinafter-Order No. KR DSM-175/2020);

6) written consent of the applicant's parents, guardians, legal representatives to travel abroad, if they do not reach the age of eighteen at the time of departure from the Republic of Kazakhstan;

7) a document on the composition of the family, to confirm the large family of the student;

8) a document confirming the absence of the student's parents (for the category of students belonging to orphans or students left without parental care (if available);

9) a document confirming the student's disability.

To submit through the e-government web portal, applicants provide the above indicated documents.

The deadline for submitting applications is May, 08, 2023.

In case of submitting documents through the university office, the package of documents must be brought to International Office (260 office).

В рамках содействия повышению квалификации педагогов, работников университета и сторонних слушателей НАО Торайгыров университет со 02 мая по 31 июня 2023 г. планирует проведение занятий по английскому языку в объеме 72 часа в оффлайн-режиме.

Цель обучения: углубленная теоретическая и практическая подготовка слушателей к свободному участию в межкультурном общении на изучаемом языке (pre-IELTS).

После завершения курса участники сформируют компетенции, знания и понимание:

- в говорении – умение грамотно передавать информацию, посредством- устной речи; 

- в письме – умение фиксировать высказывания, посредством письменной- речи;

- в чтении – навыки чтения аутентичных текстов;

-  в аудировании – навыки понимания речи, в ситуациях реального разговора.

Требование к заявителю: уровень английского не ниже Pre-Intermediate

Стоимость курса – 45000 тенге. По окончании курсов слушателям будут выданы сертификаты о повышении квалификации.

«PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS OF THE METALLURGICAL INDUSTRY: THEORY AND PRACTICE»,

dedicated to the 40th founding anniversary of the “Metallurgy” department, which will take place on May 31, 2023 in Pavlodar, Republic of Kazakhstan

The conference will be attended by representatives of leading Kazakh and foreign technical universities, research institutes, metallurgical enterprises. The conference is dedicated to topical issues of the metallurgical industry and modern science. It is planned to discuss topical issues devoted to various aspects of scientific foundations, modern technologies for the production of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, metallurgical processes and recycling.

8) справка с наркологической организации, выданной не более чем за один год до дня представления документов в соответствии с законодательством о государственных услугах;

9) справка о наличии либо отсутствии сведений по учетам выдаваемая Комитетом правовой статистике и специальным учетам Генеральной прокуратуры Республики Казахстан о совершении лицом уголовного правонарушения;

10) участник конкурса вправе представить дополнительную информацию, касающуюся его образования, опыта работы, профессионального уровня.

Прием документов для участия в конкурсе проводится в течение 10 (десяти) календарных дней со дня опубликования объявления.

11) справка о наличии либо отсутствии сведений о совершении коррупционного преступления;

12) участник конкурса должен предоставить перспективный план развития Департамента на 3 года.

Erasmus + for lecturers!

The International Office announces a competition for the Erasmus + program for lectures (construction, humanities, economics) in the spring semester of the 2022-2023 academic year at the University of Castile-La Mancha.

To participate in the competition, you must provide a CV in English, a certificate confirming the level of English proficiency (at least B2), a letter of recommendation from the dean of the faculty and/or the head of the department, a lecture plan.

The costs are covered by the Erasmus+ program.

                                                  Applications for participation in trainings have been announced!!!

The American Council on International Education announces the acceptance of applications for participation in two trainings in the cities of Tashkent and Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Details about the trainings can be found in the letter below.

I ask you to take into account that:

The training in Tashkent on April 27-28, 2023 is designed for professors and researchers with experience in publications in foreign journals with high ratings.

The training in the city of Samarkand on May 1-2, 2023 is designed for junior researchers and teachers/professors starting their careers.

Both events will be in English, no translation is provided. Knowledge of English at the B2-C1 (Upper Intermediate – Advance) level is mandatory.

                                 Acceptance of applications for "Scholarships of Turkey 2023" has started

The scholarship program of Turkey is considered one of the largest programs in the world. The acceptance of applications for study in Turkish universities has begun within the framework of the scholarship program "Scholarships of Turkey" (Türkiye Bursları), implemented by the Office for Compatriots Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) under the Turkish government.Applications for the 2023 scholarship will be accepted until February 20, 2023.

NAO "Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University" invites TOMER to take part in the Turkish language testing on February 20, 2023 at 10:00. Participation in the TOMER test is a great way to assess your level of Turkish language proficiency and demonstrate your language skills to potential employers and academic institutions. At the end of testing, a certificate is issued.
