A meeting in support of the pre-term election of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at S.Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.

The event was attended by deans, faculty, graduates and students of PSU.

In his speech, Professor Gani Elmuratov, Candidate of Political Sciences noted that elections are the core mechanism, the main form of manifestation of the sovereignty of the people, their political role as a source of power. Elections also serve as the most important channel for representing the interests of various social groups in government.

Associate Professor Aslan Azerbaev, PhD, noted that the generation of young Kazakhstan citizens born during the time of the First President of Kazakhstan should approach the upcoming elections with great responsibility and awareness of the state importance of the vote of each voter.

“Participation in elections is not just the most important constitutional right, but also an event requiring its participants to be politically responsible for their actions”, A. Azerbayev said.

The participants agreed that the early elections, initiated by the current head of state, set the goal of manifestation of a fair choice of the people of Kazakhstan. The holding of early elections of the President of Kazakhstan will allow the republic to continue the effective implementation of social programs initiated by the First President Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev.
