The results of the research work of students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School were highly appreciated at once in two competitions. Victor Kamkin, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associated Professor of the Department of Agrotechnology, was a scientific consultant of the innovation project.

The pupils examined the question of how to deactivate spills of kerosene rocket fuel and restoring soil fertility in areas of falling separable parts of missile carriers.

The works were presented at the XXVI All-Russian Youth Readings named after V.I. Vernadskiy (Moscow, Russian Federation), where Islam Asanov won the 1st place, as well as at the XV International Scientific Competition for Space Research “Open the world of science” (Baikonur, Kazakhstan). The 1st place was won by Abylaikhan Mustafin.

Future scientists have experimentally proved that the best substance to improve the properties and increase soil fertility is a mixture of liquid complex fertilizer NPK and activated carbon powder.

This mixture is proposed for the quick relieving of the negative consequences of rocket-and-space activity on the state of the environment of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Let us recall that since 2017, scientists of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology have been carrying out academic advising of research projects for schoolchildren from Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Pavlodar.
