Aida Gabdulmaksut, specialist of the IT HUB department of S.Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University, took part in a startup school: from idea to prototype in three days.

The event was held on the basis of the international technopark of IT start-ups Astana Hub.

During the meeting, those present discussed the use of market analysis methods, the choice of the most effective channels of communication with customers. In addition, an analysis of the business model, a project presentation for investors and much more was carried out.

Software engineer A. Gabdulmaksut presented her startup project “QazTez” aimed at online learning of the Kazakh language. She noted that the platform will consist of a website and a mobile application for convenient use and easy access when learning a language.

“For three days we intensively studied the materials, applied them in practice, defined the project concept and user needs. Experts of large Russian companies Yandex and IIDF shared their experience in launching new projects. I am sure that such meetings will significantly expand the IT market in Kazakhstan”, A.Gabdulmaksut says.

The project allows practicing conversational speech with native speakers of the Kazakh language, develop vocabulary, and to learn grammar in accordance with the level of language proficiency. Also, an additional function for training the visual perception of the Latin alphabet has been developed.
