Scientific and practical conference “The historical science of Kazakhstan in the context of “Rukhani zhangyru”, dedicated to the memory of the doctor of historical sciences, Professor Roza Zhumabayevna Kadysova, was held in Pavlodar.

The event was attended by representatives of the intellectuals, the scientific community, colleagues, students, relatives and friends of Roza Zhumabayevna.

In a welcoming speech to the guests of the conference the deputy akim of Pavlodar region Meyram Begentayev noted that the interrelation of the past and the present turns historical science into a scientific platform for the modernization of public consciousness. It stores historical and cultural values that will become the framework of national identity and pride of the Kazakhstan nation.

“The phenomenon of modernization is one of the urgent problems of the humanities. A huge contribution to its study in the historical aspect was made by Professor Roza Zhumabaevna Kadysova. She is the author of numerous scientific works, including the monographs “Soviet modernization of Kazakhstan (1917-1940): historiography of the problem”, “Pre-war industrial modernization in Kazakhstan: historiographic tendencies of the post-Soviet period”, Meyram Mukhametrakhimovich said. 

Roza Kadysova was born in 1965 in the Severnoye village of Irtyshskiy district of Pavlodar region. In 1990 she graduated with honors from the historical and pedagogical faculty of Semipalatinsk Pedagogical Institute named after                       N.K. Krupskaya. Her professional career began as she a rural teacher.

A huge desire to engage in science leads Roza Zhumabayevna to Pavlodar State University, where she later becomes a Vice Rector for scientific work.

Scientific activity of PSU under the direct leadership of Roza Zhumabayevna has risen to a fundamentally different level: scientific publications have been reorganized, and laboratories have been opened.

Over the years of work R.Zh. Kadysovoy published about 150 works in domestic and foreign scientific publications, 5 monographs, including in foreign publications.

An important milestone in her life was activity as the head of the Department of Culture of Pavlodar region. Roza Zhumabayevna connected the last years of her life with the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Within the framework of the conference master classes from leading Kazakhstan scientists on the theme “Study of Modernization in Kazakhstan and Foreign History: Features and General Trends” were held.

In addition, a solemn opening ceremony of the audience named after Kadysova Roza Zhumabayevna was held at S.Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University within the framework of the event.
