Three young scientists of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University won prizes in several nominations at the regional competition “Zhas Galym-2017”.

 Irina Chidunchi, PhD, senior lecturer of the department "Vocational education and environmental protection" became the best in the nomination “Young PhD” and got a diploma of the first degree.

I. Chidunchi studied the maxillopod Artemia salina in its natural habitat - salt lakes of Pavlodar region. Research allows use Artemia salina in agriculture and food industry without damage to the natural environment.

The paradigm of I. Chidunchi's study was three basic questions: “What? When? How? “ to get it.

In the same nomination, the second place was won by Shynar Arynova, senior lecturer of the department “Vocational education and environmental protection”. In her project, she studies the elemental composition of anthropogenic carbonate formations to determine the ecological safety of water resources used for drinking and household purposes. 

Third place was won by Dias Tolegenov, a lecturer of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies, he developed a method for obtaining zinc from sulfate preparations using so-called surface-active reagents. Dias Tolegenov received his award in the nomination "The best Master".

According to the chairman of the council of young scientists of Pavlodar region Irina Chidunchi, more than 30 young scientists aged under 29 took part in the competition. A feature of this year was the participation of representatives of large industrial enterprises of the region and students of intellectual schools, which shows the full interest and involvement of the younger generation in the scientific environment.
