The opening of the new exposition was held in the museum complex of S. Toraighyrov PSU on the day before. The University Museum collects, saves, studies, organizes and exhibits material, written monuments connected with the history and today of Pavlodar State University.

"The updated concept reflects the history of the university development, gives an idea about the academic, cultural, educational and public activities of the university from its foundation to the present. This event was preceded by an intensive preparatory work to find photographic documents reflecting the history of the formation and development of the university", said the director of the museum complex Gulnar Rakhimzhanova.

"For more than ten years our museum of history was without significant changes", says the chief specialist of the museum complex Bulbul Asayeva. - The material was accumulated every year, carefully stored in the funds, but the moment came when it was decided to change the concept and interpretation of the museum. I had to make a complete dismantling of the old exposition. Reconstruction was carried out for several months. We have changed the content and design, so that the museum does not lose its content and at the same time compact information, since our university is more than fifty years old and began its journey in the Soviet era with a small one-story barracks and three faculties. And today it is one of the largest universities in Kazakhstan.

To reflect the spirit of that time, it was decided to expose the exhibits of the last century: abstracts, reports, graduation papers of the first students, made by hand and written in ink. The exposition presents the first student tickets and grade books, drawing sets and counting machines.

Many things were passed by graduates and veterans of the university. A lot of personal belongings were passed by the veteran of the university Raisa Mukhamedzharovna Mustafina. The pride of the exposition is the models of the patented inventions of Mark Yakovlevich Kletsel.

According to the organizers, work on the new exposition will be continued.
