The scientific seminar "State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan: History and Modernity" devoted to the 25th anniversary of the state symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at PSU.

The review exhibition "El Ramizi - El Rukhy" was held for students of the Department of the History of Kazakhstan by Elena Likhanova, head of the sector of literature and the library of the people of Kazakhstan.

The history of state symbols of the nomadic states of Central Asia became the main theme of the speech of the director of the Institute of History and Culture of Kazakhstan, Candidate of Historical Sciences, associate professor Kairat Battalov:

"Many elements of culture and symbols of state power of our ancestors - Saks, Sarmatians, Turkic tribes are reflected in the state symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan. State symbols are the attributes of our independence, our chosen vector of development. These symbols of power are very important element in preserving the historical succession and cultural connection of times".

Cultural understanding of the state symbols of Kazakhstan was discussed by the participants of the seminar during the speech of the senior lecturer of the Department of Philosophy and Social and Humanitarian Disciplines, PhD Saltanat Aubakirova.

On the national-state symbolism as the main element of the political process, in his report told Candidate of Political Sciences, professor Gani Elmuratov.

Also, a documentary film was shown "In details. History of approving the state symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan" to the participants of the seminar.
