Dinara Yesimova, a Professor of S. Toraighyrov PSU, had a practical training in several countries under the Best University Lecturer grant from the Ministry of Education and Science.

Candidate of Pedagogic Sciences, Professor and Head of the Department of Geography and Tourism, Faculty of Chemical Technology and Natural Sciences of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University, Dinara Yesimova was invited to have a practical training at Antalya Academy of Tourism in Turkey.

Dinara Yesimova and her Turkish colleagues discussed some organizational issues in such fields as double-diploma education, academic mobility of students and staff members, and exchanging best practices.

During the visit, Dinara Yesimova had a chance to learn the best practices used by the Turkish colleagues in training personnel for the tourism industry and tell about Pavlodar State University's achievements in this field. Besides, the two institutions have reached an agreement on conducting research in the field of education quality improvement, workshops for academic staff, and training of highly qualified personnel on the basis of joint activities.

According to Dinara Yesimova, tourism is now actively developing in many countries. “Turkey has a good experience in the field of tourism, so learning from our Turkish colleagues is a great way for us to improve the quality of education,” she said.

Dinara Yesimova received a certificate for completing a course in Problems of Staff Training for Tourism Development in Kazakhstan and Turkey.

This trip to Turkey is a logical continuation of Dinara Yesimova’s work on studying international experience in the field of tourism. In May she took part in a research conference held by Concord International Academy and multidisciplinary training in the city of Paris (France).

All participants of the research training were awarded certificates “International Organizations and Scientific Cooperation”. As one of the most active participants, Dinara Yesimova received the title of a member of Concord International Academy.

The event was attended by scientists from 120 countries, representatives from EUROTIOM, Mer et Nature, VBI, China Ken, AutocarAJM, EUROPASIA, France-Kazakhstan and other tourist associations. The conference was devoted to the models of business and cultural tourism development in Western Europe and other countries.

During this conference, S. Toraighyrov PSU and Concord International Academy reached an agreement on cooperation development. According to the agreement, PSU students and academic staff will be able to participate in advanced training programs abroad.
