According to the specialties of the department, working curricula and working curricula of disciplines have been developed on the basis of State mandatory standards (bachelor's and master's degrees) and standard programs. In all specialties, there is an Educational and methodological complex of specialties and an Educational and methodological complex of disciplines.

The content of the working curricula of specialties and working curricula of disciplines and the materials of methodological support of the educational process, the volume of the educational load of students meet the requirements of the state mandatory standards of education and modern requirements for training specialists. When drawing up these educational documents, the requirements of employers and graduates of the department are taken into account.

The planning of the educational process is carried out on the basis of working curricula. In addition to the standard curricula of specialties, a list of elective component disciplines is being formed, which make it possible to develop the creative and scientific potential of students.

The quality of preparation of working curricula, methodological developments and recommendations on the types of educational activities of students and undergraduates is controlled by consideration at meetings of the department, Faculty Council and approved by the protocol of approval for each educational and methodological development.

Scientific-methodical and educational-methodical seminars function at the department. Meetings of methodological seminars are held at least once every two months according to work plans. Their activities cover the main problems of methodological support and improvement of the educational process, generalization and dissemination of best practices in the organization and improvement of educational and methodological work and the introduction of credit learning technologies.

Training at the department is conducted by credit technology. In the preparation of full-time and distance learning students, distance learning technology is used with the development of case studies of disciplines, conducting classes in on-line mode. For full-time students, training sessions in a number of disciplines are conducted using an interactive whiteboard, application programs (AUTOCAD, SCAD, SANA, etc.), multimedia tools. Knowledge control is carried out by computer testing.

Students are taught at the department using the educational portal of the university.

The department pays great attention to the organization and quality of Independent work of students and Independent work of undergraduates. For this purpose, work is being carried out on the individualization of tasks for Independent work of students and Independent work of undergraduates, conducting practical classes on individual tasks, conducting Independent work of students and Independent work of undergraduates according to a schedule under the guidance of teachers.

The department organizes the training of students in the state language and pays great attention to its educational and methodological support.

The department is working on methodological support of the educational process in the specialties assigned to the department. During the reporting period, the teachers of the department prepared 29 educational and methodical manuals, including recommended RUMS of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan – 4, as well as 4 electronic textbooks. Of the above number, 14 educational and methodical manuals have been prepared in the state language.

In the context of the reporting period , the preparation of educational materials for one full - time teaching staff amounted to:

- 2017 - 2018 academic year: 8,54 printed sheets;

- 2018 - 2019 academic year: 15.7 printed sheets;

- 2019 - 2020 academic year: 27.2 printed sheets;

- 2020 - 2021 academic year: 14.7 printed sheets.

The educational process for full-time distance learning is carried out using distance technology using case studies for each student. Classes are held in on-line and off-line modes. All the methodological support available at the department also covers the organization of correspondence education.

Working curricula of full-time and distance learning specialties are compiled separately for those entering the university on the basis of SPE and HPE, taking into account the language of instruction and basic education (for SPE). The duration of training is 3 years.

The department carries out purposeful work on the employment of graduates: a database of graduates for the reporting period has been formed, contacts with enterprises and graduates have been established, systematic work is being carried out with unemployed graduates. Data on the employment of graduates:

2016-2017 academic year - graduation of 46 people, employed - 46 (100%);

2017-2018 academic year - graduation of 60 people, employed - 60 (100%);

2018-2019 academic year - graduation of 54 people, employed - 54 (100%);

2019-2020 academic year - graduation of 142 people, employed - 131 (92.2%);

2020-2021 academic year - 81 people graduated, 79 (97.5%) were employed;

The department has work plans, annual reports, minutes of meetings of the department and methodological seminars. There is a magazine of graduates' employment, there are reviews from enterprises, institutions and organizations about the quality of training of specialists.
