Within the framework of academic freedom, 10 student chemists and petrochemists of Toraighyrov University went to practice in Romania.

During a month, they gain experience at the largest "Petromidia" oil refinery, which can rightfully be called one of the most modern in Southeast Europe.

The manufacturing practice of chemists in Europe took place as part of a previously signed interaction between the university and the company.

But first, the students had to get to their destination. Not without adventure.

“We almost missed the plane, spent 12 hours in Istanbul, after which there was a problem with registration on the site,” says Madina Sadvakasova. - Both Darkhan Kenzhetayev and I were not allowed to get on the plane. We were left at the airport without communication, acquaintances, having lost our luggage, which could be arrested. The rest of the students supported us in every possible way, keeping everyone they could on toes. And we, having passed all the “trials”, reached Bucharest. We were called “the two lost.”

Let us recall that the law on academic and financial autonomy proposed by the Ministry of Education and Science gives a new round to the development of academic freedom and students' academic mobility programs.
