In accordance with the «Rules for the allocation of vacant educational grants for higher and postgraduate education leading to the award of a bachelor’s or master’s degree, which have become vacant in the course of study», online applications are being accepted for vacant educational grants for bachelor’s and master’s programs that have become available during the learning process.

Applications may be submitted through the Students’ Personal Account from 5 January to 13 January 2026.

To participate in the competition, students on a contractual basis must attach the following documents:

- application addressed to the Chairman of the Board-Rector on participation in the competition;

- application for a transcript;

- a copy of the identity card.

The list of vacant grants is posted on the university portal, in the section "For students" - "Vacant grants" (link: https://tou.edu.kz/ru/?option=com_content&view=article&id=9974) .

The competition is based on the results of an intermediate assessment based on the GPA average. In the case of the same indicators of the GPA (Grade Point Average - Great Point Everage), students who have grades only A, A- ("excellent"), then - grades from A, A- ("excellent") to B+, B, B-, C+ ("good"), then - mixed marks for the entire period of study.

Applications of applicants are considered in the context of a group of educational programs, a course of study, a training base (on the basis of a school / college).

In the absence of applicants for a group of educational programs, vacant educational grants are redistributed within the field of study and further across the field of education.

The decision to award vacant grants released in the course of study is made by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education on the recommendation of the Academic Council of the University.

In accordance with Letter No. 20-3-20-7/1428-И dated February 24, 2025, of the Committee of Secondary Education of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, we hereby inform you that the International scientific publication “Zertteushі” has been included in the List of publications recommended for the dissemination of research activities.

The founder of the International scientific publication “Zertteushі” is the Institution “Zertteushі International Scientific and Educational Center.”

In this regard, we inform you that the International scientific publication “Zertteushі” accepts materials for publication in Kazakh, Turkish, English, and Russian, including:

scientific articles by students, master’s students, and doctoral students of universities and research institutes, as well as researchers and early-career scientists;

scientific and scientific-methodological articles by educators undergoing certification in accordance with the Rules and Conditions for Teacher Certification, approved in the new edition by Order of the Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 32 dated February 25, 2025;

research projects by school students and their supervising teachers, submitted to scientific project competitions in general education subjects for grades 9(8)–11, the “Zerde” research projects competition, as well as other competitions.

Scientific articles by young scientists and their academic supervisors for publication in the upcoming issue of the International scientific publication “Zertteushі”, which is included in the List of publications recommended by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the dissemination of research activities, may be submitted by the 27th of each month.
