Activists of the republican student movement “Alliance of Students of Kazakhstan” (hereinafter - ASK) on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited the universities of the region and assessed their readiness to organize the traditional (offline) educational process.

They monitored the connection of universities to the Ashyq system, the placement of QR codes in educational buildings and student campuses, checked all relevant sanitary and epidemiological requirements, etc.

The assessment criteria include the readiness of educational buildings, libraries, reading rooms, student houses, gyms.  Availability of water supply, electricity, Internet, disinfecting arches, disinfection mats, remote markings, devices for controlling body temperature, antiseptics (on each floor and in bathrooms), a disinfection schedule, compliance with a strict mask regime.

Today, more than 16 thousand students study in the region.  According to the leader of the regional headquarters of ASK Azhar Amanzholova: “Already now the number of vaccinated Pavlodar students will increase every day (NPJSC Toraighyrov University - 51.6%, NPJSC Pavlodar Pedagogical University - 60%, InEU - 45.5%).  I think that we all need to be vaccinated, this is necessary for the formation of collective immunity.  It is good news that  the administration of universities has provided all kinds of incentives for vaccinated students and teachers. It is relevant and timely”.
