S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University hosted a regional contest of connoisseurs of the state language “Til-parasat” among youth of non-indigenous nationality dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Pavlodar region and the 20th anniversary of Astana.

The purpose of the competition is to stimulate the study of the Kazakh language, expand its scope, and increase the level of language culture and the status of the state language.

The event was attended by the winners of city and regional competitions aged from 17 to 22 years.

The competitions were held in several stages, where the participants had to perform an oral presentation, cope with the creative task “Shabyt zhuldyzy” and write an essay in the state language on the proposed topics.

According to the results of the contest, Marina Kharchuk, the representative of Pavlodar College of Transport and Communications became the winner, and she will defend the honor of the region at the republican stage.

Second place was won by Violetta Buranbaeva, a student of Pavlodar College of Transport and Communications.

Berta Debretseni, a student of Aksu College named after Zhayau Musa won the third place.
