The best athletes, coaches, winners and prize-winners of the Olympiads among state employees, veterans and media representatives covering the sports life of the region were named in Pavlodar.

The annual regional contest “Zhas Galym”, organized by the Office for Youth Policy of Pavlodar Region, together with the Council of Young Scientists and PF “Asyl Zaman”, was held in Pavlodar.

Three teachers of S.Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University became winners in the competition for the title of “The Best University Teacher” in 2018.

The charity event “Food fair” organized by the Enactus team took place at S.Toraighyrov PSU.

The teachers of the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Studies and the Polylingual Education Center of S.Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University Tara Brandenburg (USA) and Makhabbat Baitemirova won the “Mobile Teacher” international competition.

Gulzhan Amanova, Head of the User Services Office of the Academician S.Beisembayev Scientific Library, Pavlodar State University, attended a training seminar entitled “The Modern Library of the Higher Educational Institution: Management, Resources, Technologies and Forms of Service”.

By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 5, 2018 Bizhan Zhumaseyt, professor of the Kazakh language and journalism department, a senior researcher at E. Bekmakhanov Scientific and Research Center for History and Ethnography of S.Toraighyrov PSU was awarded the Order “Kurmet”.
