Toraighyrov University students won prizes   according to the results of the III International competition of students research papers on the development of the fuel and energy complex and entrepreneurship.

Under the leadership of Saule Kunyazova and Madina Karimbergenova, students Nikita Shvatsky, Victoria Kazakova, Zhumabay Shyngyspek won the second place.  The team presented its model for the development of youth entrepreneurship in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Under the leadership of Vadim Markovsky, a third-year student Dias Zhaksybaev won the honorable second place.  Dias investigated the loss of electrical energy in distribution networks.

Karim Temirbulatov and Batyrkhan Kaykenov studied reliability at compressor stations of JSC NC “KazMunayGas”.  Together with the supervisor Bauyrzhan Shapkenov they won the second place.

In the direction of the contest "Current State and Prospects for the Development of the Chemical and Petrochemical Industry" Dmitry Snopkov became the second.  Together with the head of the department, Madeniet Elubay, it was proposed to improve the service characteristics of oxidized bitumen by the modify method.

Aruzhan Sarybai and Master of electric-power engineering Aigul Ashimova presented their energy independence strategy and won the third place in the competition.

 The state of the fuel and energy complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the environmental problems associated with it were investigated by Yana Makovets, Anel Temirgalieva.  Led by Alma Mussina, they won the honorable third place.  A silver medalist was also Yernar Shakhmetov.  As part of the GEM (Global Entrepreneurship Monitor) project, he assessed the national level of entrepreneurial activity.

 Students from  Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation,  National University of Science and Technology MISiS, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, and  Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University and others took an active part in the competition
