The grand opening of the new co-working “Art-garage” took place in S.Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.

Welcoming the guests, Gaukhar Akhmetova, rector of PSU noted that “Art-garage” is a workshop in which creative ideas of young scientists will be implemented.

It contains several design companies of IT specialists, architects and experts in the field of construction and engineering and is an informal platform for communication and collaboration.

Today, “TKR-Toraighyrov University” company and an art gallery are located in the co-working, where students and everyone interested will have the opportunity for creative expression.

“This is a place for students where they can come with their projects and use modern technologies. Here we presented a virtual reality, 3D holograms, contactless control. Students not only study technologies, but also try to apply them in projects. Technologies are being introduced into the educational process and help us to assimilate information much faster and convey it in a visual format”, said Alexander Shankin, commercial director of the “TKR Group”.

“Art-garage” is a kind of creative oasis in the city. This format appeared thanks to the classic California garages, in which such large companies as “Apple”, “Google” and others were originated.

A presentation of the “Virtual Reality in Education” projects took place, where developments in veterinary medicine, agrocomplex, welding simulator, as well as students' work, which audience could see, were presented as part of the opening of the coworking.
