Two outstanding scientists noted their 80th anniversary at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University: Amangeldy Nurzhauovych Nurzhauov, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the International Informatization Academy and Meyram Khamitovich Khamitov, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the Academy of Social Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Gaukhar Akhmetova, the rector of Pavlodar State University, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, participated in the celebratory event, noting that                        A. Nurzhauov is a representative of the intellectual elite of Pavlodar region: a scientist, a talented musician, a man with generous and open soul.

“Amangeldy Nurzhauovitch has always been and remains a man with a broad outlook, having a fine taste and a quivering attitude towards art. His powerful intellect, tempered character and a confident life position have always been an example for young colleagues, , "G. Akhmetova said.

As a direction of his scientific activity, the scientist chose to study the dynamics of the machine-tractor aggregate - the most important direction of technical progress in agriculture and industry.

Few people know that Amangeldy Nurzhauov initiated and inspired the creation of the first dombra orchestra at the Pavlodar Industrial Institute, he was the founder of the first graduate department “Cars and tractors” (now the Department of Transport Equipment and Logistics of the Faculty of Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering and Transport of S. Toraighyrov PSU) .

Amangeldy Nurzhauovich wrote 9 methodological instructions in Spanish, which were successfully introduced into the educational process of the National Engineering University of the Republic of Nicaragua.

A well-known mathematician, Honorary Education Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Meyram Khamitovich Khamitov also celebrated an anniversary.

The audience warmly congratulated the scientist on his 80th birthday. On this day, words of gratitude were expressed from colleagues and students.

M. Khamitov devoted more than forty years of his life to Pavlodar State University. The Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Information technologies has received its qualitative development in many respects with the assistance of a scientist who stood at the origins of development of Pavlodar industrial institute. 

Meyram Khamitovich developed a unique solution of the decimal period of the differential system. He is the author of more than 100 scientific and academic works, five monographs, two collections of problems (in co-authorship), a textbook on mathematics in the Kazakh language.
