Noyan Kuanysh, student of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies of Pavlodar State University won third place at the Republican competition of professional skills "Meni shyndagan Serpin".

Noyan presented his project "Weather station based on Arduino with WI-FI connection".

A new scheme for connecting sensors and a Wi-Fi controller to the Arduino microcontroller was developed during the designing of a meteorological station. In addition, changes were made to the program for this platform.

According to the lecturer of the Department of Physics and Instrumentation Serik Kamashev, the development provides an opportunity to monitor changes of temperature and humidity in the street, in the house, in the greenhouse in real time.

The event was held on the basis of M. Kozybayev NKSU and was organized by the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of North-Kazakhstan region. More than 100 students studying upon the "Serpin-2050" program from twelve universities and colleges of Kazakhstan could take part in the competition.
