The British company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) for the fourth time published the results of the universities ranking of Emerging Europe and Central Asia countries QS EECA.

S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University, providing training in 118 specialties of Bachelor's,Master's and Doctoral studies, entered the TOP-170 universities (position 161-170) of Developing Europe and Central Asia according the QS. Taking into account, that in this region there are more than 2900 universities, S.Toraighyrov PSU is among of 5.5% of the best educational institutions.

Applications for participation in the rating were sent by universities from 20 countries in the region, 250 of which were evaluated. Kazakhstan is represented in the rankings by 19 universities.

In the QS EECA rankings, experts took into account the academic reputation and reputation among employers, assessed the number of international staff and foreign students, rate of the academic degree holders among the teaching staff, the publication activity of university staff, the citation of scientific papers, analyzed the efficiency of Internet resources, and etc.
