On the day before the British company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) published for the third time the results of Emerging Europe countries and Central Asia universities (Emerging Europe & Central Asia) ranking.

S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University, providing training in 115 bachelor, master's and doctoral programs, was included in the TOP-200 of Emerging Europe countries and Central Asia universities according to QS.

More than 500 universities from 21 countries in the region sent applications in participation in ranking, of which more than 300 universities were evaluated and 200 universities were ranked. 44,226 employers’ and 76,798 experts’ opinions were processed. 

The experts took into account academic reputation and reputation among employers, evaluated the proportion of international employees and foreign students, the level of teaching staff degrees, publication activity of university employees, scientific papers citedness, analyzed the index of Internet resources efficiency, etc.

18 universities of Kazakhstan are represented in the ranking.
