The rector of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University, Doctor of Political Sciences Aryn Orsariyev and the head of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Public Services and Anti-corruption Denis Shakenov have concluded a Memorandum of Understanding.

The Memorandum is aimed at strengthening and development of cooperation in the sphere of training and retraining of public and civil service employees for public agencies of Pavlodar oblast. According to the agreement, PSU students will receive training at the school of public services, where they will study legislation, laws and regulations on anti-corruption and the business state language.

Anti-corruption policy directions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which are covered by the anti-corruption strategy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2015-2025, have been discussed at the meeting with students.

As Aryn Amangeldinovich touched on the subject of corruption facts, he emphasized that “the problem has a harmful effect on the youth of Kazakhstan”,.

“If we don’t regularize anti-corruption efforts and exterminate the enabling environment for corruption existence, we will surely fail to instill patriotism and faith in future prosperity of Kazakhstan in the next generation,” said Aryn Amangeldinovich.

According to the head of the Agency on Public Services and Anti-corruption in Pavlodar oblast Denis Shakenov, the relevance of the fight against corruption lies in the fact that it must be the complex one.

“If only anti-corruption efforts become, firstly, the persistent function of the state, secondly, the subject of constant and vigilant control by society, we may obtain some positive results. Corruption has a devastating effect on all legal institutes. We will be unable to build a prosperous country unless we estimate rightly the threat effect,” said Denis Shakenov.

In conclusion, a proposal for holding an exhibition of artworks of pupils and students at the University has been approved, where the results of the competition dedicated to International Anti-corruption Day will be summarized.
