A concert by the Lyubava Russian song ensemble of Gorno-Altaisk State University (Gorno-Altaisk, Altai Republic, Russia) took place in the concert hall of S. Toraighyrov PSU on February 20, 2014.

This concert is the cultural component of international cooperation between our University and Gorno-Altaisk State University.

Lyubava was established at Gorno-Altaisk State University in 2005. The main direction of the ensemble's activity is performing Russian folk songs and remakes of original songs. Over the years of its existence, Lyubava has become an important part of the cultural life of the University, the city of Gorno-Altaisk, and Altai Republic. It is now recognized all over the Republic along with the leading creative teams.

According to the artistic director of the ensemble, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation Sergey Menokhov, Lyubava performed the very best of its repertoire for Pavlodar State University students. 'We are honored to bring a piece of the rich Russian culture in your city. Our ensemble consists mainly of students, so this is especially exiting for them to perform in another city in front of their peers. It's a new communicative experience for us, a new opportunity to expand the geographical boundaries of our creativity', said Sergey Menokhov.
