Delegation from Toraighyrov University in Germany: searching for best practices in dual education in the context of digitalization.

The team from the grant project "Mechanism for Ensuring Balanced Interaction Between the Labor Market and the Education System in the Context of Economic Digitalization," consisting of project leader Zulfiya Arynova, senior researcher Saida Kairdarova, and junior researcher Lyazzat Tyulyugenova, is currently in Germany studying the dual education system in the context of digitalization.

Germany is recognized as a leader in this field, successfully combining theoretical education with practical training in enterprises. During the visit, the delegation studied the practical aspects of the dual education system at major companies, including a division of Bosch and the technology conglomerate Voit. They learned how the integration of students into production processes is implemented in practice. These companies actively utilize the dual education system, merging theoretical learning with practical skills at high-tech workplaces.

Such experience is invaluable for implementation in Kazakhstan and allows for a better understanding of how companies can participate in the training of skilled personnel in the context of digitalization, as well as how they integrate into the educational process, which helps effectively adapt education to meet the modern labor market requirements. This experience is particularly significant for Kazakhstan, where the dual education system is also actively developing and can be enhanced through the expertise of Germany.

As part of the visit to Germany, the ToU team held meetings with the leadership of the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW). During discussions, promising areas for collaboration were outlined, including the exchange of experience in the digitalization of the educational process, joint educational programs, and internships for students. Special attention was given to the possibilities of adapting the dual education system to the conditions of Kazakhstan, taking into account DHBW's successful experience in integrating theory and practice into the educational process.
