Students of the innovative educational program "Mechanical Engineering and Reverse Engineering" were taken on field trips to partner enterprises — Pavlodar Machinery Plant and JSC "ERG-Service."

The objectives of the trip were to foster interest in the field, combine visual and accessible perception with the ability to analyze, compare, and conclude. It provided an opportunity to get acquainted with the internal processes and work technologies at the ERG-Service site. Freshmen familiarized themselves with the tooling and equipment of the welding-assembly and production workshops.
Moreover, within the micro-qualification "CNC Machine Operator of the 2nd grade," the modern technological equipment at the operational production of Pavlodar Engineering Plant was explored: semi-automatic machines, CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, new technological fixtures, including modern welding machines, plasma cutting apparatus, and CNC disc saws, press brakes, rolling mills, grinding machines, guillotines, metal gas cutting equipment, assembly stands for overhead cranes, and a fleet of universal machines.
- The interaction between Toraighyrov University and employers is a significant indicator of the university's quality and reliability, one of the criteria for its competitiveness in the educational and labor markets. Such field trips help potential employees (our students) to familiarize with the internal order of the enterprise and adapt more quickly upon employment, while for the employer, they ensure the gradual integration of a young specialist into production," noted Zhanara Mussina, head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Standardization.
