The Department of Russian Philology offers two Bachelor’s degree programs.

BACHELOR’S DEGREE PROGRAMS

1. THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE

Educational program

A Bachelor in the Russian Language and Literature can work in secondary and specialized schools, lyceums, gymnasiums; in divisions of the Department of Education; research centers; as well as in mass media as a specialist in public relations (PR), reporter, editor, announcer, proofreader; in public administration bodies as a specialist at the Departments of Culture, Education, Information, etc.

University alumni have the opportunity to start a researcher`s career in the sphere of philology by entering the MA and PhD programs.

Students who have finished the program in 5B011800 Russian Language and Literature are awarded the academic degree of a Bachelor of Russian Language and Literature.

Qualifications and positions:

- teacher of the Russian language and literature in secondary, specialized secondary and vocational schools;

- educator in pre-school institutions;

- specialist in different foundations and projects.

2. PHILOLOGY: THE RUSSIAN PHILOLOGY

Educational program

A Bachelor in Philology can work in secondary and specialized schools, lyceums, gymnasiums; in divisions of the Department of Education; research centers; as well as in mass media as a reporter, editor, announcer, proofreader; in public administration bodies as a specialist at the Departments of Culture, Education, Information, etc.

University alumni have the opportunity to start a researcher`s career in the sphere of philology by entering the MA and PhD programs.

Students who have finished the program in 5B020524 Philology are awarded the academic degree of a Bachelor of Philology.
