Research

Teachers of the Department are actively involved in research activities in various fields of psychology, pedagogy and social work. The Department carries out research in the following areas: 

- Pedagogical and psychological support to vocational training in the system of multi-level education (supervisor: Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Ye. I. Burdina);

- Psychological Readiness of Pregnant Women and Young Mothers for Motherhood (Ph.D., Associate Professor G. M. Tulekova, a senior lecturer S. K. Antikeyeva);

- Organizational and Psychological Support in the Work of School Psychologists and Psychologists in Organizations (Ph.D., Associate Professor G. M. Tulekova, a senior lecturer S. K. Antikeyeva);

- Methodological and Technological Fundamentals of Formation of Intellectual Work Culture of Future Specialists (Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor V. Kh. Adilova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Ye. I. Burdina).

Members of the teaching staff of the Department take an active part in international and foreign conferences (Germany, Russia, Poland, Ukraine, the USA, England, the United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, China, and Kyrgyzstan), constantly work on improvement of their skills.

In 2007, Ye. M. Aryn, N. E. Pfeifer, Ye. I. Burdina, M. V. Semyonova, L. Yu. Gushina won the State Prize named after Y. Altynsarin for the best research in the field of pedagogy with the study guide titled “Theoretical Aspects of Professional Training of Teachers of the XXI Century”. Doctor of Pedagogic Sciences, Professor K. M. Kertayeva won the state grant “The Best Lecturer of the University in 2007”. 

Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Ye. O. Zhumatayeva won the open competition of applied research projects titled “National Idea as the Basis for Sustainable Development of Kazakhstan for 2007-2009”.

Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor V. Kh. Adilova developed the project “Methodological and Technological Fundamentals of Formation of Intellectual Work Culture of Future Specialists” financed by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

G. M. Tulekova has been conferred with the title of Associate Professor of PSU and received a PhD diploma.

Professor R. Zh. Aubakirova successfully defended her doctoral dissertation in 2016 (the Order No.228 Dated 21 March, 2017).

Professor, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences S. K. Ksembayeva has been awarded a commemorative medal.

Professor A. A. Kudysheva, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, has successfully completed the ADA anniversary fellowship program, the USA, ASU.

Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor B. D. Kairbekova has been given a letter of appreciation from Akim of the region for outstanding contribution to the development of higher education.

International relations of the Department were expanded, new international agreements on academic cooperation were signed. For example, such agreements were signed with Moscow City Pedagogical University, Penza State University SEI, Russian State Social University (Moscow, Russia), Tomsk State Pedagogical University (Tomsk, Russia), the Institute of Pedagogical Research of Gifted Children (Novosibirsk, Russia), CONCORD International Academy (France), the University of Latvia, A. Myrzakhmetov Kokshetau Universityа, Bashkir State University, FSBEI HPE Altai State Pedagogical Academy.
