The Department offers a Bachelor’s degree program in 5В071300 Transport Equipment and Technology (Educational program) with the following specializations:

– Automobile and Tractor Construction;

– Railcars and Railcar Facilities;

 

 

 

– Locomotive Operation and Maintenance.

 

Upon completion of the program, students get the academic degree of a Bachelor of Engineering and Technology and a state-recognized diploma.

- development of design, technological, design and estimate documentation for the construction and maintenance of transport equipment;

- organization of teamwork and taking managerial decisions.

- optimization of the machinery and equipment manufacturing technology;

- designing projects of machines and equipment taking into account technological, design, aesthetic and economic parameters.

Description of the program

Training specialists for road police, traffic organization services. Graduates are employed by organizations specializing in design, construction and operation of motor roads and streets, traffic police and transport inspection, automobile companies, etc.

- improving traffic management systems based on the latest achievements of science and technology;

production and management:

- organization of teamwork, finding a compromise between different requirements leading to the optimal solution;

designing:

- drawing up plans for the development of transport companies and systems of traffic organization with the use of information technology while developing new transport and technological schemes.

All courses are taught in specialized classrooms and laboratories equipped with modern facilities and instrumentation, and computer rooms. The Department has a driver training school, Engines Research Center and a driving track.
