The leading and decisive role of higher education in economic development and agriculture through scientific and technological ideas and projects, rapidly developing technology and high-tech products, intellectual and educational potential of people is an indisputable factor acting as an indicator of the national treasure.

The Department offers the following program:

• 5В080200 Livestock Products Production Technology (Educational program) based on the state licenses.

The educational process is carried out in accordance with the latest standard SES RK 5.04.__2008.

The main fields of activity of the Department are:

• research: obtaining new knowledge and implementation of research results into production;

• education: the use and improvement of the quality of knowledge in the learning process;

• innovation: development and implementation of innovative technologies and their subsequent commercialization.

In 2013 the Department was authorized to offer a Master’s degree program in 5М080200 Production Technology of Animal Breeding Goods leading to the Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences. 

Highly qualified teachers of top higher education institutions of the republic, specialists-practitioners of economic organizations and administrative authorities, having academic degrees and ranks, are attracted to the educational process.
