At the department, the management of the educational process is held in accordance with Standard of PSU 7.09.2-07 "Management of the educational process" and the Concept of the Educational work of S. Toraighyrov PSU.

At the S. Toraighyrov PSU on an ongoing basis, active work is being carried out to counterwork, prevent corrupt offenses. With this purpose in the university: by the decision of the Academic Council approved the Program of Corruption Counteraction of S. Toraighyrov PSU for 2015-2016. The work of student self- government corresponds to the program actions of the University Educational work Concept. Order No. 6/1-07/196 dated April 10, 2013 on the introduction of student government was issued. Until then, student self-governance functioned 2 times a year.

At the meeting of the department approved the plan of the department's EW for the 2017-2018 academic year, developed on the basis of the plan of the EW  of the faculty.

Students of our department take an active part in sports and cultural events:

A student of the Agr-201, Arman Akimbekov engages in freestyle wrestling and Kazaksha Kures. He is a multiple winner of republican and regional competitions (1st place at the international Kazaksha Kures wrestling tournament held in Kosh-Agach village, the Altai Republic; 1st place in regional competitions in the 55 kg weight division; 1 place at “Altyn Belbau” in the 60 kg weight division; 3 place in the Zhas Barys Kazaksha Kures competition; 3 place at the regional Sambo championship. 

A student of the Agr-201, Arman Bissembinov won second prize in freestyle wrestling at the championship of the region, he took third place in the competition held in Ekibastuz, and he also won third prize in the competition held in Krasnoyarsk.

In the 2016-2017 academic year the first-year students of the Department took an active part in the Student Initiation Ceremony.

A student of the Agr-302, Alfiya Yergaliyeva took third place in the Subject Olympiad held at Almaty State Agrarian University.

Students majoring in the 5В080100 Agronomy, Alfiya Yergaliyeva, Assiya Yussupova, Leila Ussenova were granted a Certificate of Appreciation for participation in the Subject Olympiad held at Almaty State Agrarian University.

The Department of Agricultural Technology was granted a certificate “Higher Education Institutes’ Learning Programs Rankings 2016” for winning first prize in the best educational program category (the 5В080100 Agronomy program).

A senior lecturer, K. A. Urumbayev was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from Manash Kozybayev North-Kazakhstan State University for helping students prepare for the International Subject Olympiad. 

At the department, the management of the educational process is carried out in accordance with SSU 8.04.3-17 "Management of the educational process" and the Concept of VR Toraigyrov University.
Toraigyrov University is constantly actively working to counteract, prevent and prevent corruption offenses. For this purpose, at the university:
- The decision of the Academic Council approved the "Program of counteraction of Toraighyrov University for 2020 - 2021";
The work of the student self-government corresponds to the program actions of the VR Concept of the University.
At the meeting of the department, the VR plan of the department for the 2020-2021 academic year, developed on the basis of the VR plan of the faculty, was approved.
Students of the department take an active part in the Republican Student Subject Olympiad.
Under the guidance of the teacher Mustafayev N. B., a team was trained in the specialty 5B080100 Agronomy and took part in the XII Republican Student subject on-line Olympiad, students of the Agr-401 group Sahaba Ayman, Imanbekova Alfiya, Shahan Ayymgul participated.
Teacher Kasanova Zh.B. prepared a team in the specialty 5B080700 Forest resources and forestry and took part in the XII Republican student subject on-line Olympiad, students of the group Orzhosh-401 Kapashev Zhanibek, Murat Zhaslan participated.
In addition, teaching staff and students of our department take an active part in sports and cultural events:
Students of the Department of "Agrotechnology" take an active civil position:
- actively participate in the university movement La Vie Dobro. The list of volunteers of this community includes students majoring in Agronomy: Sahaba Ayman, Shahan Ayymgul, Imanbekova Alfiya, Zhaksylyk Kymbat, Alibekova Kamila, Rymbaeva Meruert, Hisamitova Aigerim, Abdanbekov Aslan and Zupar Alua. The ENACTUS community includes students Abilashova Nurzhamal and Amirova Alua. Rymbaeva Meruert is a member of the PR team;
- students Tleukina G., Syrmanova B., Bekishev B., Kauzkhan E are active participants of "Kyz Zhibek kyzdar clubs";
- students Galyamov I., Akhmetkarimov A., Kapashev J. specialty 5B080700 Forest resources and forestry take part in the work of student construction and youth teams.
