For the 2022-2023 academic year for the department assigned 99 subjects, including 48 in the state language and 51 in the Russian language.

For these disciplines teachers of the department have developed courseware, including working curricula, syllabuses, materials of the current, midterm and final control. The analysis of the TICD showed that the quality of developed TICD corresponds to the requirements of SOSE RK. The quality of the developed coursework and study materials meets the requirements of the State Education Standard of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Provision of TLMKD for the first and second semesters of the department was 100%.

Jointly with the teaching staff of the Altai State University (Russia, Barnaul) a joint educational program was developed and approved within the framework of the internship of 2nd year undergraduates 2022-2023 academic year.

According to the schedule of open classes of faculty members of the department for the academic year 2022-2023 the following events were held:

1) Senior lecturer Chashina B.A. held a class on "Dynamics and sustainability of landscapes" within the discipline "Landscape Science";

2) Senior lecturer Dosova M.T. conducted a lesson on "Working with partners" within the discipline "Planning and organization of tourism business";

3) Senior lecturer Kochetkov M.Y. conducted a lesson on "Consumers in the hotel industry" within the discipline "Organization of hotel and restaurant economy";

4) Associate Professor (Associate Professor) Alkeev M.A. conducted a lesson on "Tourism Country Studies (Europe)" within the discipline "Geography of International Tourism";

5) The teacher (assistant) Toktarbekova A.B. conducted a lesson on "Topographic map and its use" within the discipline "Cartography with the basics of topography;

6) Associate Professor (Associate Professor) Azhayev G.S. conducted a lesson on "Classification of excursions" within the discipline "Excursion Studies";

7) Senior lecturer Dauit Zh. conducted a lesson on "TMD Elderinininң ishki zhane syrtky economical bailanystary" within the discipline "TMD Elderininininң geografisy";

8) Senior teacher Kakezhanova Sh.K. conducted a lesson on "Өzdің әreketі. Өzenңңң аңғары" within the discipline "Geomorphology";

9) Senior lecturer Zhaxalykov K.N. conducted a lesson on "Urbanization and environmental protection" within the discipline "Geography of population and cities of the world";

10) Head of the Department, Associate Professor Yessimova D.D. conducted a lesson on "Control and evaluation activity in teaching of profile disciplines" within the discipline "Methods of teaching profile disciplines";

11) Teacher (assistant) Әmirgaly M.A. conducted a lesson on "Classification, nomenclature and diagnosis of soils" within the discipline "Land cadastre with the basics of soil science".

The students were provided with access to the University's portal 100%.
