Curriculum support and development

The faculty has standard and working curricula of the specialty. The provision of standard programs of disciplines is 100%.
All work plans of the specialty are drawn up in accordance with the State mandatory standard of Education and reflect the requirements for the development and conditions for the implementation of a training program for specialists with higher professional education.
The faculty has a catalog of elective disciplines. UMCS is fully formed for the 2022-2023 academic year.
In all academic disciplines, the leading teachers of the faculties have developed: lecture topics, seminar and practical training topics, exercises and tasks, laboratory work topics, independent work of students according to a certain schedule, names of educational and methodological manuals, problem books and instructions.
The faculty has a scientific and methodological seminar on the problems of using modern educational technologies in the educational process of higher education.
There are plans for the work of the faculties for the 2022-2023 academic year, prospective and annual plans for the publication of educational and methodological literature, adjusted in accordance with the SES and the directions of development of the theory and methodology of software design and programming. The content of the UMKD is discussed at faculty meetings.
The work programs reflect the types of independent work of students (SRS), the content of these works, the time of execution and types of control. The implementation of the SRS is monitored by the teacher in practical classes and ongoing consultations.
All working curricula and programs are prepared simultaneously in the state and Russian languages. To carry out intermediate and final control of the level of knowledge in a number of disciplines, systems of test tasks in the state and Russian languages have been developed. Laboratory work is provided with methodological guidelines in the state and Russian languages.
During the semester, students' knowledge level is monitored in two types: direct and indirect. Systems of test tasks and tasks have been developed for conducting indirect testing.
There are working curricula and programs in the specialty and disciplines for on-the-job training, they fully comply with the State mandatory Standard of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The educational process is provided with 100% of the educational and methodical literature in Russian, there is a lack of educational and methodical literature in the Kazakh language. The plans of the faculties provide for the preparation and publication of educational and methodological literature in the state and Russian languages.
The schedule of training sessions is compiled by the dispatching bureau of the university and approved by the Vice-rector for Academic Affairs, is stable during the academic semester, training sessions are conducted fully in accordance with the schedule. In cases of business trips and illness, teachers are replaced.
