The 2015 Graduate Recruitment Fair was held at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.

The 11th Graduate Recruitment Fair was jointly organized by PSU and the Department of Employment and Social Programs of Pavlodar. The main objective of the event was to provide employment assistance to graduates by organizing a meeting with their potential employers.

The event was attended by representatives of leading companies and organizations of Pavlodar and the region, such as Aluminium of Kazakhstan JSC, Kazakhstan Electrolysis Plant JSC, KSP Steel LLP, Eurasian Energy Corporation JSC, Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant JSC, Aksu Ferroalloy Plant (branch of Kazchrome TNC), Format Mach Company LLP, Caustic JSC, KazEnergoKabel JSC, Pavlodarenergo JSC, banks, large construction companies, law enforcement bodies, etc. In total, there were representatives from 56 companies, agencies and organizations. Members of the National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Institute of Atomic Energy, also told about existing vacancies.

Vice-Rector for Development Strategy, Education and Social Affairs of Pavlodar State University, Arman Akishev, delivered an opening speech. He noted that the number of employers working in close cooperation with PSU is growing every year. “We would also like to thank the Department of Employment and Social Programs of Pavlodar for supplying us with information regarding existing vacancies and providing employment assistance to our graduates,” he said.

Deputy Head of the Department of Employment and Social Programs of Pavlodar, Larisa Kuzmenkova, told about some of the employment programs implemented in Kazakhstan (“Youth Practice” and “Employment Roadmap 2020”).

Members of the Department of Employment and Social Programs held consultations on employment assistance under the state programs “Youth Practice” and “Employment Roadmap 2020”. They also told about the Professional Retraining program funded by the Department and provided latest information on current vacancies in companies and organizations of the city.

This year's Graduate Recruitment Fair was attended by PSU graduates, deans, heads of departments, and supervisors of student groups. It was a good chance for former students to talk to their potential employers, learn about their requirements, general condition of the labor market, existing vacancies, and leave their CVs. Graduates will be able to get a job as soon as they receive their diplomas.

All participants of the Graduate Recruitment Fair received leaflets with résumés of the 2015 graduates. The University received applications from 22 companies and organizations for the total 149 specialists. Information regarding these vacancies is already available to the graduates and soon will be posted on the educational portal of the University.
