The team of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University finished second at Enactus Kazakhstan, an annual national competition of social and business projects performed by students.

The competition is held by the Ministry of Education and Science and the Council on Youth Policy under the President of Kazakhstan. This time, there were 45 teams representing universities from all over the republic.

Students presented economic, environmental, and social projects that have already been implemented and helped improve the lives of ordinary citizens. The main objective of Enactus Kazakhstan Expo is selection of projects that fully meet the criteria for the best use of business opportunities to improve people's lives.

The team representing S. Toraighyrov PSU successfully passed the qualifying round with the best result among all 45 teams, having left behind such universities as the University of International Business, Abylai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages, Kazakh Innovative University of Humanities and Law, and Kazakh-American Free University.

At the final stage of the competition, our team finished second and received the Enactus Cup and a special prize for the best result shown in the qualifying round. Each member of the team received a certificate. A letter of appreciation for participation in the competition was sent to the administration of the University. Students also received presents from such companies as KPMG, Philip Morris, and Halyk Finance.

After the end of the competition, PSU students visited the office of KPMG, learned a lot of new information about the company and had a chance to speak to its management.
