Students of Pavlodar State University returned with a victory from the 7th National Academic Competition in the Kazakh Language and Literature, which was held at Kostanai State Pedagogical Institute.

20 teams from universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the competition. It was held in two stages. The first stage included essays and creative tasks aimed at identifying the theoretical and practical knowledge. During the second stage, students had to take a test.

PSU was represented by Beksultan Kabyshev, Ulzhan Toleu and Arailym Yermekova, undergraduate students majoring in the Kazakh Language and Literature. According to Candidate of Philological Sciences, PSU Professor Bakytzhan Kadyrova, while preparing for the competition, students made their first steps in research, demonstrated their theoretical knowledge and creativity.

Having shown good results at all stages of the competition, PSU students won the third prize in the team event.

Beksultan Kabyshev, a member of our team, said the competition was really exciting, because it brought together best experts in the Kazakh language from all over the Republic. “We are very grateful to our teachers who helped us prepare for this competition, this is our common victory,” said Beksultan.
