Assistant Professor Bridget Goodman and consultant Nurkhan Omarbekov, both representing the Graduate School of Education, Nazarbayev University, held a presentation of their School's postgraduate programs for PSU students and staff members.

Members of Nazarbayev University are actively involved in awareness-raising activities among the leading universities of the country, as well as delivering information about the academic programs of the University.

Bridget Goodman told about the Master’s and Doctoral degree programs offered by Nazarbayev University. She also noted that all necessary conditions have been created for the implementation of innovative breakthrough projects of the University. “I am very pleased to be here. Pavlodar State University is the largest university of the region, it offers a wide range of academic programs in various fields. I hope that many of you will continue your education at our School, as our Master's and Doctoral degree programs are aimed to make sure that students make the most of their educational and research potential.”

The guest speakers told about the duration of studies, entry requirements and accommodation. PSU students asked many questions regarding the entry examinations. Owing to this presentation, they learned a lot about the admission rules and academic policy at Nazarbayev University.

It should be noted that S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University and the autonomous organization of education “Nazarbayev University” signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the institutions in 2014.

The main objective for PSU in the framework of this cooperation is to learn the best practices of Nazarbayev University with a view to making effective changes in the structure of the organization and management of the University, its research and educational activities, and international cooperation strategy.
