He cited historical evidence proving that Olzhas Suleimenov is Olzhabay Batyr's direct descendant in the seventh generation.

“The book contains scientific and journalistic articles about prominent personalities, the descendants of Olzhabay Batyr's younger brother Omar. These are Zhayau Musa Bayzhanov, a famous singer and composer, Olzhabay's great-grandson academician Alkey Margulan, and Olzhas Suleymenov, a great poet of our time, writer, scientist, and public figure,” said Zhumaseit Bizhan.

During the meeting, PSU students could ask their questions. Olzhas Suleymenov said he was touched when he received the book about his great ancestor. "I am happy. The book about Olzhabay Batyr is the most valuable gift for me. Once my grandfather Olzhabay said that his descendant was going to be “belgi”, that is “rich with knowledge”. And indeed knowledge is my most important wealth. Here at PSU I saw academics and students striving for knowledge. I hope you will acquire enough knowledge to lead our country to its bright future,” said Olzhas Suleymenov.
