Students of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State Univesity participated in the campaign for cleaning “Goose Migration”, the paleontological monument of national significance located on the right bank of Irtysh.

“Goose Migration” is known for its burial of relict fauna. It contains remains of ancient animals - three-toed horses, rhinoceroses, giraffes, saber-toothed tigers and other animals that lived 7-10 million years ago.

The purpose of the campaign is preservation of this monument of national significance, developing caring attitudes towards the environment.

The campaign was organized by Pavlodar Regional Territorial Inspection of Forestry and Hunting.

Student Rector of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University Gabit Khafiz led the group of our activists. Students say that taking part in such activities is a matter of honor for every patriot of the city. The total square of the territory cleaned by PSU students is 5 hectares. 'The main thing is that everyone is able to make one's own contribution to the beautification of our city. So it isn’t just a duty, it is also an honor for us to participate in this campaign,' said Gabit Khafiz.
